WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video, shot from an Apache helicopter gun-site, depicting the slaying of a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad by US forces in 2007 including two Reuters news staff. Two young children involved in the rescue were also seriously wounded.
On the day of the attack, Lt. Col. Scott Bleichwehl, a spokesman for the multinational forces in Baghdad, said: “There is no question that coalition forces were clearly engaged in combat operations against a hostile force." He was lying.
This is the true face of the American empire and we, the american people, bear the responsibility of putting an end to all this nonsense before we turn all our young men and women in uniform into cold blooded murderers.
